I remember seeing this one before. I wonder if the front seam is a characteristic of the Raven company ?
I presume there is no back seam ?

lovely smock
if iam not wrong the X means it was taken out of service , reason unknown , which is way its in such a fine condition , i have seen a lot of 1st pat smocks all size 7 with the red x and a few belong members on here but these were the printed 1st pat smocks not hand painted like this one

I had a size5 hand painted one(with the red X), but with a long zipper.
All the smocks i have seen with a red x true the label had a long zipper.

As for the zipper, I'm not sure what long zipper means

Sorry for my bad English. This is what i mean. A zipper what runs from the top to the bottom of the Denison. So you can put it on like a jacket.
