          Modern replicas I'm afraid.

          Cheers, Luc

Here's a good one, picture taken at the Hartenstein airborne museum.

Eric, originals are very hard to find.

As an aside, I passed van Wielik in the Hague on my way to work today (supplyers of orders and medals). They had a No10 Commando BD blouse on display in one of the windows, and a Prinses Irene blouse in another. My mouth dropped when I saw it but upon closer inspection both sported fake shoulder titles.

              Cheers, Luc

                Hi Luc,

I can understand you would not have expected a firm like that would display tunics with fake insignia but I guess It******180;s hard for them ore for the owner of the tunics to find original ones also...

Luc please don******180;t get me wrong as I******180;m sure you know what you are talking about but are there more people who know these are newly made fakes?
I know my friend would be more sure they are fake when more people have the same opinion about them.

I know my friend wil keep an eye on this thread!

Have fun collecting and thanks again.
                All the best, Eric

Luc is spot on with these...they don't come much worse than the ones you've posted.

Nylon construction, incorrect backing, scrawly font, low quality...just about sums them up.

                  Jack.

I can only agree with Luc and Jack. Simply compare them to the original example shown and the differences are quite apparent.

There comes the cavalry, I knew we would agree on these.

Eric, I had a look at the repro No10 title from my collection, the embroidery is a bit thicker but basically an identical badge.

                      Cheers, Luc

Amazing I could do without the computer for all that time

So sorry for my late reply and many thanks for your input!
Although no good news for my friend...
