Trench maps include Guillemont, Wytschaete,Messines,Albert and Ballykinlar! All marked with his name and Battalion and many with his notations.Nearly 50 books and pamphlets (most again marked with his name,Battalion and with his notations). These include the Kings Rgulations for 1912, his Field Service Pocket Book,Field Service Regulations part 2, 1909 and reprint for 1914. Musketry Regulations Part 2,1909 and 1910 versions. Manual of Field Engineering 1911,Manual of Map Reading and Field Sketching 1912, the list goes on. Some are of a more commercial nature and I may post these in a separate thread.Comment

His Journal. It only covers the period from 21/10/16 to 29/10/16 and must have been one of many. Its basically his Trench orders as a company co. The pages are 'dotted' and therefore detachable so what remains are his carbon copies. Aproximately 70 orders with several pages of notes about writing Trench Orders towards the back. Everything from duty rostars and casualty lists to three notes trying to explain to an adjutant that his fleece linning for his trench coat had been lost WITH the coat itself and that the one resupplied did not have a said linning!Comment
