I would have thought an established auction house like DNW or Bosleys would have been a better venue for such a medal grouping. That way a museum would have a chance to acquire it. Wouldn't a museum like the IWM be interested in such a piece?

By eck.. this really is a small world!

Pete and I were section Cpls in Anti-Tank troop, 40.Cdo.RM.. before the Falklands War started. A great guy. I'm saddened to see that his medals were up for sale. I hope that if they come up again, that the Corps museum will buy them.
