I think it's 100%original, but do you think about it?

    Looks good to me too.

Just check that all the badges are original to the jacket.

    Cheers, Ade.

Hi! I think those prop badges are late wwII or late 40th years.

I like these RAF BD's. I don't see very many, but that could be that I live in the US. I dont think I've even seen maybe 8 of them here on the WAF forums. The four pocket tunics seem to be much more prevelant...

The 3 bladed prop badge was introduced 1st January 1951 as an intermediate rank between LAC and Corp.

It still appears to be a WWII vintage tunic. Perhaps it was recycled for later service. I do like that it's a nice large size too. I only have one RAF BD, and mine's also a 16. Dated 1942, and labled for air crew. Mine is missing the shoulder albatros', but I've been told by collectors that they MUST be there, and by others, not necessarily...I'm inclined to leave it as found...

Hi! Thanks for answers. One hour ago I bought this BD for 180zl (54,5dollars). I think it's good price.

The bird badges on the sleeves are of an Eagle.

and it's badged for an Air Gunner... not Air Crew
