South African WAAF Hat and insignia

I got this a little while ago and thought I would share it with you. Her name is Molly Sonnenberg and she was the first Jewish WAAF to be mentioned in Despatches (11th March 1944, she was a SGT at the time) and was later commisioned and finally ended up as a Captain. She was seconded to the JAG detachment in Cairo operating under Judge Wing Commander Sommerhof. She married a Yank (he was a lowly Sgt and had to have a note from his CO that it was OK for him to fraternise with his wife ) and came to the US in November of 1945.
