I was wondering if anyone had any information on this badge. . I am hoping it is WW1 but I don't see and maker marks or dates. I was wondering if any one could help me.

I'm not a LdSH specialist, but I would say this does look like a WWI pattern badge.

Hi it is definately WW1 the key here is the tree is still uprite, after the death of LORD STRATHCONA the tree leaned over. As he died JUST PRIOR TO WW1 the badges saw much service into the war.
