    Royal Navy Normandy

I came across a group of six Royal Navy shots locally.
They depict scenes off the coast of Normandy during the invasion. All are marked on the reverse as being "cleared for post but not publication" by the Admiralty Press Division. The sailor was on the gunboat Locust.

Just wondering on a ball park value for them. Is this sort of thing rare - desirable ?

    thanks kindly for any info.

Not to put anything down on there photos as they are good shots.

IMHO there is nothing the indicates that they were taken during Normandy landings.

They could of been taken at any of the many many pre invasion exercises or for that matter any small port before or after in invasion.

Any dates or other provenance that goes with them other than the gunboat name??

Not real idea of the value maybe others have an opinion.

Would be a neat historical exercise to link the location of this pic up as we supposetly know the name of the ship they were taken on and one may be able to identify some of the ships in the pic and see which were acting with each other. A retirement project for sure!!!
