[Lone Pine]

Here's a wierd one I found in my collection. It appears to be a ww2 hat badge, but it is a solid back made one. Has anyone seen this before?.

Hi Bruce,
I've only seen solid backs on sand cast slouch hat badges but they were generally a little rougher than the one shown. Actually after having a second look this one could be a sand cast badge.

I've looked at this one closely under a magnifying glass and I don't think it's a sand cast, it's too detailed. I've seen sand castings and they are no where near this one.
