    Glider pilot (beret) badge

    Hi all,

    today this little badge arrived in the mail. The seller claims it to be authentic WW2. I am not sure so please give your thoughts on it please.

          You're welcome! If you search the forum, you will find Ade has an identical one with rock solid provenance.

          Here's my set of WM AAC badges, you will see yours is identical.

              Yes actually I think it's one of the nicest badges of all British badges. Luc can you also show the rears of your 3 please.

                There you go Dirk. The one shown in the middle of my previous post is a cap badge made into a sweetheart: it is silver plated and a brooch pin replaces the lugs. I will have a similar one soon, with a bit of luck it is actually an officers sterling silver cap badge.
