A group of medals

Hello,

A friend is proposing me this lot of British medals found in France.

There are all in perfect condition, and most of them are attributed to the same person ( a surgeon whose highest grade is lt Col)

Could you help me to identify them ?

What would be the value of these ?

The medals are:

- Egypt Medal - Suakin Clasp
- Khedive's Star - Dated example 1884-86 from what I can see?
- India General Service Medal 1908 - Clasp Abor 1911-12
- 1914-15 Star
- British War Medal 1914-20
- WWI Victory Medal
- Dehli Durbar Medal 1911
- Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE)

Difficult to determine a value without further information. May well all belong to the same recipient. The value of British medals is very much determined by the information available on the recipient himself.

Many of the medals that you show should be named on the rims of those gongs. How about posting the names on these medals and we can see if there is any way for the group to be verified?
A couple of photos of the naming styles would help also.

Hello everybody.

Thanks a lot for your kind help. I have managed to know much more already.

This group belonged to C. SEYMOUR.

The Egypt Suakin medal is engraved "SURGn C. SEYMOUR M.B. MED STAFF"
The Egypt star is not attributed.
The "TABOR" medal : "Captain C.G. Seymour I M S"
The Delhi Durbar medal is not attributed
The MBE is not attributed
The 1914-1915 star is engraved "CAPT. C. G. SEYMOUR I.M.S."
The 1914-1918 medal is engraved "LT. COL. C. G. SEYMOUR"
The "Great War for civilisation" as well.

My camera is not precise enough to get good pictures of the engravings, but the above respect the captions and small letters.
