    Royal Navy Commando

I was having a rummage through my bits box and I came across this. It's a shoulder flash for Royal Navy personnel attached to the RM Commandos. These blokes are trade specialists and do the course at Lympstone and wear the green beret. There's not that many of them and they rarely get any mention. I've seen a couple on courses, and this is probably where this came from, as I can't for the life of me remember how I acquired it. There was probably beer involved - which might go some way to explaining how I got it. I also have a set of jump wings to match.

(Apologies for the bloody image size. I thought I'd sussed this by now.)

Yeah we had a matelot or two on my course. Most of them seem to be either helicopter air crew, medical personnel or a few signallers who work with 148 Commando forward observation Bty RA, who's principle work is in directing naval gunfire.
