Royal Navy uniforms

Hello all,

Besides collecting Kriegsmarine and RAF flying headgear I also have some WW2 Royal navy which is very nice stuff.

Does anyone know some good books, articles or websites on WW2 RN-militaria?
I've lot's of books with Kriegsmarine and RAF militaria in it but never found one with Royal navy uniforms or so.

If you can track down a copy, I would recommend "British Naval Dress" by Dudley Jarrett, black and white pictures. Be warned, it is an old publication and may be difficult to find. Pre ISBN, last printing I know of, 1960.
Other than that you might try the Osprey series of books and see if they have anything. It is a subject that dosn't really attract much attention despite the fact that the Navy in their day, especially the British, shaped the world as we know it.
