Newfoundland Blue Puttees

Evening telegram 1930 article. Mr. Mars of the Uniform commitee in charge of which outfitting the Regt in 1914. Intresting to note the Regt was supposed to wear slouch hats. Would have been very intresting to have acolonial unit from North America looking like Auusies and IN Gallipoli and Eygpt!

So out of curiousity, who, other than me disided to purchace a pair of these puttees?

I got two pairs.

I got mine about the time I posted above. They look good to me. Long Puttees marked as you would expect with the Fox logo on a little brass button (as with all Fox Puttees, and the original tie marked by foxx as well.

I am very happy with these, I only wish I had opted for two pair instead of only one.
