Hi G, the Poles were based in and around so many Scottish Castles. I don't recognise this one (Just spent 30 mins doing a search )

Hi G. Thank you for the kind comments!

That is an easier one for me. My wife Lez collects ATS uniforms. We often remark the same thing, that she is so like the Queen. It is Princess Mary. She was the Princess who in WW1 sent the gift tin to the soldiers in the trenches. We have a large framed print of her taken in 1943 and autographed by her.

          Cheers, Ade.

It looks a bit like Tulliallan Castle, which was Sikorsky's HQ during the war.

There is a Polish Army monument in the grounds of the castle.

It is now the Scottish Police College.

              Close........but not close enough.

Hi Robin, I looked at that one too. I bet you know that place first hand

Hi G, don't tell us the answer yet. My wife's mission for today is to find the answer. She loves doing this kind of thing.

                Cheers, Ade.

Well done to the Missus, Ade.

That place isn't too far away from where I live, and I've never even heard of it.

                    I'm not a golfer, mind!
