British POW Library Book - WW1

This was sent to me by a relative who thought I may find it of interest.

It appears to be a French language book which was sent to British Prisioners Of War this instance being:

Sgt Tas Fram (?) in POW camp Merseburg (believed to be Germany) on the 16th June 1918.

    It also has the name

Sergt S Hidon - 34609 - Machine Gun Corp on an inside page.

I've never seen anything like this before so hope it will be of interest to someone.

    Regards ...

Hag, I think the first name is Jas Fram. Jas a common abbreviation for James in UK.

          Thanks Dave.

When I get time I'll try and find out who they are.

We have a an army number for Sgt Hidon - are there any site where we could enter this number and get his details?

          Regards ...

It's not all his info but you could order his medal card.
