Airborne Strip/Title - Opinions

Hello, can I get some opinions on this “Airborne” strip please, is it WWII? It has some glue residue on the back from being mounted in a display.

John, there's nothing wrong with that! It's as right as rain! These weren't prodcued after sometime late on in 1944 although they probably were worn for longer. There are plenty of fakes about but yours isn't one.

Correct, shame about the moth nips but still a nice example.

YEP , RIGHT AS RAIN THIS ONE , a big clue is the distinct ` break ` in the cross bar on the letter ` A` and the right hand leg of the letter `R` where they meet the rest of the letter , the copies tend to be more woven in to the rest of the letter , regards ,Michael.
