    Cap badge help please

    Hi guys,

How does this Army Pay Corps cap badge look to you ? I believe it's a 1902-1920 era one ?

But, it was the lug on the reverse thats made me think - hang on !

Personally I can see nothing wrong with the badge. The very long SLIDER (not lug) was used so that the badge could be slid into the Pugree.

THE BADGE is good but the slider has been added much later. Think I see remains of lugs on the back ?

I cannot see the remains of lugs... but Paul may be right as the slider metal looks far fresher than the badge itself...

Badge looks good, however compared to a couple of examples I have of WWI era cap badges, the slider looks to have been reatached at some point as all the sliders I have dont show that mass of solder holding it together, the fixing is much neater.
