Thumbs up from me Laurence, nice group. Naming on the MBE is, of course, unofficial, but looks period to me and I would have no problems believing it was done by the recipient or his family.

Nice group and honest dealer. I find nothing wrong with the group except the naming . This could have been done by the receipient or collector in the past. I have to admit I was tempted to purchase group.....GO FOR IT

Cdn Group

I have a DFC group with the CVSM engraved with receipients name. Somebody had it engraved (the wife or family), but why didn't they engrave the DFC ? Engraving was easily done by Birks so perhaps they engraved the item in case it was lost or stolen or show off their name. There are many answers to the question. You like the group....GO FOR IT. Vimy has been around for some time and I've heard no complaints about him. This is a good group for research.
