    Cape Breton Highlanders Cap Badge

    Does anyone know if the is a pre or post WWII Cape Breton Highlanders Cap Badge? I do know that is not WWII (see post #2 below).

      The first badge is post WWII. The pattern came about in 1949. The second Badge you show is one version of the Cape's badge pattern 1922 that was used in WWII. There is another version of that badge that lacks the 'buckle' on the Regimental Scroll.

          Hello John, I am new to the forum, the badge that you have displayed is a cap badge of the Cape Breton Highlanders, prior to going overseas during WWII. Before deploying overseas, the unit was told to remove the buckled annulus and also told to remove CANADA from the crown.
