      Gentlemen
I have a Polish air gunners grouping, who formed part of the 300th and 305th bomber squadrons.....Among the papers I found a letter to English command requesting issuance of star medals, and this request was turned down, as "exisiting regulations would appear that Polish personnel are not elegible for British campaign awards, as they are not enlisted or comissioned in the British forces", dated May 46..
Now we all know about their exclusion from the Victory parade in London...
      but this is very strange..........
Every single Polish grouping in the army contains some British campaign award...
why this? was it different in the PAF than the army? I dont understand..the PAF was under direct RAF command...just as much, or more than the army..

      any ideas about this/???
      thanks

        Mooyman
that is one very very nice grouping .....I suppose its from a Brazilian?Romallo?
and I suppose you found it in Brazil.......
        If so, an incredible find...
and I have no doubt an incredible price..........
I dont know how RAF groupings are priced but Polish groupings attached to the RAF are worth small fortunes
