A day in the life of 18fl

Guys, we all know ebay seller 18fl and his merchandise. If it's a private auction it has been tampered with, otherwise it's ok.

On the internet I read he uses another username (militarytrader) and I made an interesting discovery!

    Militarytrader bought replica insignia:
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...tem=6571271849
    and:
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...tem=6272514838

And this is where they ended up:
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...tem=6627558179

What a way to make a living!

    Cheers, Luc

You must have made a mistake because ..."This lightweight tunic has its original wartime insignia plus label and is an untouched house clearance piece. Three buttons are detached but are in the pockets. No moth although three very small nicks, otherwise excellent.

Well spotted but theres not a lot to be done .Rob.
God please take justin bieber and gave us dio back

      Well done Sherlock....er...Luc!

      Good post.

Wish more could be done to warn the unsuspecting.

It’s a travesty that ebay is more concerned about posting “offensive symbols” rather than hosting crooked vendors.

      Regards,
      Tony

True, there's not a lot we can do, just sharing knowledge on forums like this.

At the moment he has a Belgium cap badge made by Eekelers. It was listed as an original WW2 Belgian SAS cap badge.
A quick internet seach showed Eekelers was founded in the seventies. I contacted the seller and he has now changed the description from "genuine WW2" to "vintage", but it still in the same category.

Oh, for those interested: it is not even an SAS badge but a current 2 para cap badge.
