WW2 British turtle helmet 1944

Just thought you would like to see my latest British helmet. Hard to see in my picture as I couldn't quite get the light/shade right but the liner is stamped BMB 11 1944 size 7.

Very nice Irv these wartime dated turtles with the correct liner mounting assembly and high chinstrap bolts are rising in price rapidly .All they need to do is make a film about the Canadians at D Day and prices will start going crazy .Rob.

I think you are right! These helmets are greatly underestimated. If you are going to get one, get it now as they are still reasonably priced.

As you would guess these are better looked for in the UK. Make sure you get the one with the higher rivets. As you can see from this ones screw the liner has never been out of the shell. I must admit they are hard to find with the paint as good as this one.

Can I have some more comments on the paint please.
If you have pictures of period helmets that have already been checked out can you post them here. I'm interested to see the difference in the WW2 and post colours.
