I can't think of any links, but Geoffrey Moore's book on British cavalry & infantry units and locations WWI indicates the units that served in Ireland & suffered casualties.

Thats very interesteing seems like the rising was tackled by mostly Irish units. Are there copies of the actions or citations available on the net? Or can you request them via FOIA if so who do I submit the request to? I trying to get more info on the engagements my grandfather was involved in. He was a member of H Company, 1st Batt, Dublin Brigade, Irish Repulican Army.

At first it was only Irish Regiments that tackled the rebels. Afterwards, British regiments were shipped over from England.

The offical despatch on the actions from the British side was published in the London Gazette in 1916. You can view it here (you will need adobe reader to view it)
