    father and son medal group

    Heres another group that i was given, the medals are her fathers and grandfathers,
    the queens south africa is to the connaught rangers and the sons ist war pair are to the royal scots ,he joined at 16 fort for 2 years and after the war went to fight in Ireland for a further 2 years he came out and got a civi job which he did not like and went and rejoined and went in the R.signals were he got hisIndian campaign medal his rank is on the medal as SGLN what does that mean.

    Hi Merdock, a nice group and a great gift

    "SGLN" I think will stand for his rank of Signalman which would be a Private in the Royal Corps of Signals.

        Merdock, I've got a piece of original QSA ribbon about 4 inches long but nearly worn through into 2 pieces. You might just be able to fudge it behind a bar.
