    More WWII Canadian Wings

I really have really enjoyed the previous thread on the Canadian Pilot's Brevet, but felt that it would be better to make a new thread than to highjack another.
I will start with a couple of my favorite wings-
    Both are bullion (obviously).

Here are some More Cananadian pilot wings. The top wing is post WWII, but still King's Crown. Among collectors, it is referred to as a "Big C" wing.
The other two are just gorgeous examples of hand embroidered wings. I love finding these brevets with the big curved wings.

The Canadians used a similar brevet for other aircrewmen, like Navigators, Bomb Aimers, Aerial Gunners, etc. Here are four different examples of Canadian Aerial Gunner Wings.
Many collectors look for variations like curved wings, straight wings, numbers of feathers in the wing etc.
The two brevets on the left side of the photo are post 1943 wings with the King's Crown. The wing on the top right is a pre-1943 example. The bottom right wing was made in the CBI and has snap fasteners attach to the back side.

These are miniatures rendered in sterling silver. While they are most likely sweetheart wings, the quality is impressive. These are a little longer than 2 1/2 and 2 inches long respectively. They are approximately the same size as the British wings worn by foreign volunteers.

Those are some beautiful wings indeed! I love the bullion especially

I have one pair of RCAF wings which someone removed from a tunic long before I found them in a shop and bought them. After seing this thread, I decided to put them on my scanner and post what resulted, so here goes:

keep in mind that the process tends to turn black into purple, so I have tried to correct this via computer photo editing.

Note the needle marks around the borders.
