    Has anyone seen this MC on e-bay? Is it real, and possible to determine if WWI or II vintage?

    Al,
    The picture quality leaves a lot to desired and the MC doesn't appear to have the quality of striking one would expect from a Royal Mint piece. A WW2 would have the date of award on the lower cross arm. WW1 crosses were awarded un-named and undated however many were privately named and/or dated. The price seems to say this MC isn't being taken seriously by the medal collecting community.

      Thanks for the reply. I didn't think the item was real as well and your correct that the price was too good to be true and likely as well for the item.

      And thanks for reminding me of the rev. dating wrg to WWI vs. II, I don't know how I over looked that.
