RAF Patch

It is an RAF patch..
but question is from when and for whom?
This way too good an clean to be WW2...It came in a lot of WW2 items..
but it looks out of place...
Actually in a lot of Polish items...but as I say I dont belive for a minute its WW2, therefore un Pole related...any ideas?

Hi G, the first wing is current issue with "Queens Crown". No idea if original as I don't collect post WW2. The second one is indeed a fake. It has been roughed up and washed to "age" it.
