    Funny badge of rank.

Guys, this badge came in the mail today as part of a lot I won on ebay. I assume it is some badge of rank but I couldn't find it in Brian L. Davis' book.
    Any ideas?
    Cheers, Luc

      Wheres Garth ?

This I think, is a Regimantal Corporal-Major and Farriers Corporal-Major of the Household Cavalry and WO 1st Class.

I think it could be !

It is the "Royal Arms" worn by the Warrant Officer 1st Class Regimental Sergeant Major (unless the unit does not use the word Sergeant). Coloured edgings were added in 1945. Page 18, 20 metal version on page 24 of the BLD book. There are numerous variations of the shape.

Marc, I've been looking at the pages you mention but I see no "honi soit qui mal y pense" or "dieu et mon droit" mottos on my badge. Just makers variation then?
