Some help please. WWII Polish is not my area and while the cap is very nice I would like to know if it's okay or has it been put together post war. Liner is quilted and maker marked J COLLETTE LONDON 1945. There is also a broad arrow. Badges seem okay and are attached by a small screw and nut assembly. The large badge also has an unused ID disc as a backing plate. Two blue ribbons sewn into the back of the cap, arm of service? Liner has had very light wear but the badge shows more wear. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Roy

Hi Roy, I would tend to go with a put together. The cap shows evidence of once having a different badge as witnessed by the other holes. I do not like to see that.
Overall, I see nothing wrong originalty wise of all the component parts. The cap is a standard British "General Service cap". The cap badge is a standard Polish one as is the Lt.'s rank star.
Sorry I do not know which Regt the cap represents with the addition of the ribbons.
Cheers, Ade.
