Collar badge? help please

Hi
I cannot find these two in any of my reference books on cap badges and assume they are collar badges. Can anyone help as I do not have any reference material on collars

No2 is a right hand collar of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders. I'll have a look through Churchill for the other one, don't immediately recognise it.

The first one is Churchill 552, Royal Irish Regiment pre 1902 Gaunt pattern, worn in facing pairs. Is it silver?

Many thanks, its great to be able to put names to them.The second badge does look silver but I cannot find any markings to confirm this.
