Gurkha pin question

I was hoping someone could give me some information on this Gurkha pin as to originality and age.

I would say this badge is of fairly recent manufacture judging by the actual insignia and the pin fastener to the reverse.

Certainly post partition and likely made within the past 2 decades in my estimation. Most more recent Indian badges have this cast look about them.

Thanks Adam, ... the cast is pretty rough, I couldn't imagine it beying an older piece but I am not familiar with Gurkha pins and therefore don't know what they supposed to look like.I thought I run it by you guys to make sure.Thanks again,Tino
