BWM to a Gallipoli vet

Hello

I have a British war medal named to a man that i have been told landed at gallipoli on day one (25th). So far this is all the info i have been able to find

Is there anyway to confirm that this man did indeeed take part in the landings at Gallipoli? Is there any other method to search WW1 records as i have a couple of other medal groups i would like to do further research with but unfortunatel cant order from the national archives.
