Guys, I have to agree about the helmet. I wouldn't buy it!

Re: webstraps helmets at Arnhem, here's a picture that I took at the Hartenstein museum that shows it. And there is that wellknown picture of an officer standing next to Gen Gale boarding his aircraft prior to D-day.

In my opinion it's a nice post-war period lid, and nothing more!

And Michel De Trez does tend to drop a few bad things into his extensive stock of rarities! I know because about 4 years ago when I was only getting into all this he kindly sold me some fake badge for £150 My fault entirely and I never blamed him or asked for a refund. Buyer beware isn't it!!!

Guys, isn't it a little bit weird to see such thin sorbo on a 6 1/2 size liner? I'd expect to see much thicker rubber.

          Cheers, Luc

Hello Luc, I don't think it's a problem just a little unusual maybe?

I remember now, there were 2 different shell sizes! Normal and large.
              Sizes 6 1/2 to 6 5/8 used a normal shell, sorbo was 1" thick.
