RFC sidecap

Hi everyone,
I have this RFC sidecap for at least 10 years, now I´m planning to sell it to a friend of mine. It´s in good avarege condition, some moth. I don´t know much about prices in British WWI militaria, so my question is: How much should I ask for? I paid quite a bit of money those days, so if anyone knows the average price I´d appreciate.

Nice officers cap! These are just hard to come across. That wedge looks to be in decent shape. I am personally lucky enough to have three of these in my personal collection.


Price wise it depends on what you want and what your friend is willing to spend. I know of one site that has one up for $300USD. I can tell you I paid more for mine but they are in pristine museum quality condition, if you want more details PM me as I would rather keep my collections $$$ value private.

Looks more OR's to me as the badges and buttons are brass and not bronze ,but I could be wrong .If you put this on ebay I could see £200 + quite easily.A very nice and rare cap .Rob.

I would say $300 would be a reasonable value for it.
