Hello all,
One of two tunics found locally (the other one will be posted later on another thread). I’m not a collector of Canadian militaria, but as a person born and raised here I am well aware of the heroic contribution made by Canadians during the past two world wars.
Admittedly I have no frame of reference with which to judge them on purely Canadian BD tunic characteristics. However, extrapolating my knowledge of Polish WWII BD tunics – these appear entirely authentic period pieces with no evidence of any alterations. Other than some slight mothing, dirt build up, and other age related condition issues, both are in generally good shape.
Any thoughts on this Captains rank Royal Canadian Artillery one?
Any idea as to value?
Please excuse the less than ideal pics as they were hastily taken, but hopefully they convey adequate detail to generate some comments.
Best Regards,
Tony
