Dose any one know what regiment this badge is from? Looks as if perhaps this item is a standers bearer’s support cup for a regimental flag? A bit baffling to say the least. <O</O

That is precisely what it is. Though it does appear a little 'home made': more akin to trench art. It looks like it's made from a shell case.

Thanks for the replys,I dont think its a moded shell case as there is no primer or markings to the base (please see pic). I have also taken another pic of the badge from a different angle which i dont know is of any help ?

General Service Corps? If you look on the crest you can just make out the harp and crown.

Victorian crown so not GSC but a royal crest so not regimentally tied as such. Could be from any unit.
