Beware yet another Ebay Seller

I'd reccomend not buying anything from scutari28 on Ebay. i won this auction :http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=6556153405 .

But when i got the medals, they were not all named to the same man I paid by pay pal,but the seller claims he cant give me a refund via pay pal because he dosen't have a pay pal account so i got screwed nicely

Advise him you will drop negative feedback on him if you don't get your refund. It might help him find the refund button on his paypal account.

A good suggestion and, of course, the logical way to proceed.

However, the ebay pitfall in this matter is that if the seller has not already left feedback for the buyer, then Scott runs the risk of also getting hit with a negative.

And Scott - sorry to hear about the raw purchase. Very frustrating I know.

I posted positive feedback, i KNOW i shouldnt have, but didnt want a negative in return. in all honesty i thought i was screwed because of us living in different countries,but Entasis was kind enough to point me in the direction of resolution. thanx for the help and replies!

i left this feed back BEFORE i checked the rims of the medals i was excited, i have been looking for a named trio for awhile,he shipped VERY quickly,and in my exuberance i posted too quickly. i was going to retract my feedback,but as things have gottnen nasty between the seller and i, i dont want to be neg'd in return. good thing about mistakes like this,you only make them ONCE

yes, i have thank you. i have never hada bad transaction on ebay (LUCKY me) and assumed at first because we are in different countries i was out of luck.

Rob, the only way I can interpret an item description "trio to dvr W. Moody" is that ALL medals were awarded to the same person.
This is IMO pure fraud.

i agree, a GOOD question to ask in the future! i have been very lucky on ebay,and i got complacecent,and paid for my folly. also, "check the damn medals before posting feedback" THATS on the top of my list of things to do .

today, he said if i return the medals, i'll get an international money order in return,but even tho i PAID him thru pay pal, he dosent have a pay pal account,cant credit my pay pal account .then went to tell me paypal debited him 3 and a half pounds for the transfer of funds. i'm wondering if he can tell whoppers like that in real life with a straight face

Scott it's a shame, but if it makes it any better most of us have had experiences like this unfortunately
