        I think it is stamped H & C on the left and on the right it has 3 marks a anchor, a lion, and a K

                No, they're not rare. They come in many shapes & sizes for myriad sporting prowess. Some are of 'regimental pattern': struck at unit expense; but mainly they were purchased from trophy & prize manufacturers/sellers for award to soldiers at depot sports events. They are sometimes encountered in boxes, but usually without any means of suspension.
