    London Gazette

I've just searched on the LG's website and he doesn't seem to be listed under the DCMs for some odd reason.

There is a L/15140 Cpl. TW Niblett MM of B/162nd Bde. RFA(Deptford) that appears to be for service in Italy. If you type in TW Niblett MM, two matches will come up - it's 31299 page 4. Is that the same service number as appears on the medals?

      Hallo again gentlemen,

yes Tony thats him, thanks for the link to the Gazette, it looks like a great research tool, but I can´t get the pages, some problem with plug-in components, although in the search I did find 3 entrys under TW Niblett, I just can´t read them.
Thankyou also to Simon for the excellent link to the Artillery Museum, I shall write to them soon to see if they can help me.
I have said it before, but I think this Forum has just got to be one of the best places on the net for friendly helpful people.
      Thanks very much guys.

Hmmm, cannot view it at work either.
Tony, any chance of you copying it and posting it here?
        or is that against copyrights?

You need Acrobat reader installed to read it. It's free and you can download it here:

          Adobe

It's a good program to have on your computer as many documents use the .pdf format.

I must give a 'cheers mate' to Tony for mentioning the Gazette database. What a great research tool

            Hi Simon,

I did infact install the Adobe reader as this was clearly shown on the Gazette page, however even with this I could only get the top of the page and not the actual text.
At this stage a very big thank you to Marc Sherriff who went to the trouble of writting everything down and sending me a PM, cheers Marc.
