    Possible D-day Sam Browne ?

    Hi Guys,
Looking through some of my collection today when i came across this Sam Browne that i picked up for next to nothing at an antique fair a few years ago. I remember at the time noticing a pencil inscription inside the belt along with a name and Regiment. The name etc is clear enough to read but the writing inside the belt is very faint as it was done in pencil. Having studied it for some time now i am convinced it says "England,Scotland,France,Belgium,Holland,Germa ny and home".
    Normandy Jun 6th 1944 Home Mar 15th 1945.

I,m not sure why England and Scotland would be that way round but thats definately what it looks like to me. I,ll try to photograph it tomorrow but i,m not sure it will show up. Anyway, here are two other photos of it.
    Cheers,
    DAVID

According to my info that is a Royal Horse Guards number, not RAMC.
Very hard to find info about this guy if you are not a relative.
        Cheers, Luc
