British MK III helmet - Any red flags ?

Hello to all

Any red flag with this British MK III helmet from ww2 ?

Is it textured cork painted in and out ? does MK III are period factory painted this way or is it smooth paint basically ?

Looks good to me perhaps the chinstrap is later , the strap seems to be a lot cleaner than the rest. Rob

That is a nice helmet, nothing to worry about.

......apart from the stacking marks around the crown - which are impossible to remove, and really put some collectors off .

Not impossible to remove ! Just use steam from a kettle and voila .... gone! Rob
