Nicest 2nd pattern I've seen for a long, long time. Was given as a souvenir by the original para owner after he broke his leg on exercise and was forced to leave the Airborne. The person he gave it to was his friend, a war photographer, who famously took the photo of St Paul's cathederal during the Blitz. Looks like he took great care of it. Hope you like it

Helmet looks good .. but

Helmet looks damn good !!!!, my only comment is a little concern over the leather chin strap ... shouldn't it be rivetted rather than stitched ? (I may be wrong on this ... anybody else got comments ??)

Makers marks

Hi Luc, I think you will find that is is not. This effect can often be found when taking digital photos, but don't ask me why? I guess it is due to lighting? The same question has often been raised within the badge forum. Checkout the earlier photo (number 4 in the thread ) as this shows it better
