Size range of ww2 British Battledress

    Hello to all

What is the size range for the Patt 1937 and Patt 1940 wool Battle dresses

Mnimum size being 1 i guess ... but what is the maximum size ?

    Thanks

I have a 1944 dated size 16 Blouse which is for someone 6’1” to 6’2” (Technically Admiralty working dress). I think in the depths of my mind I recall seeing a size 18 but I’m not quite sure.

Wiki say's 1 - 19 but this is maybe only for the UK as I have size 28 Blouses from Canada. Think to remember that these went up to 32.

The standard sizes went from size 1 up to size 18 for battledress blouses. There was also a size S (small) and ES (extra small) before size 1.

A quick search online will bring up several versions of the standard size chart, with specific measurements for each number.
