M.I9 ID Card?

A mate who does local house clearance chucked this at me the other day and 'im not sure what i have. Does it relate to MI9? Do know it apparently ended in 45 but it might well have existed up to 64 i believe? Any help would be great

Seems legit. No doubt they would have given him a long expiry date not knowing they going to be disbanded in 45

An interesting document. It is clearly post war as shown by the Queens crown (not least the date ‘64). It should be noted that if it is Mi19 (not to be confused with Mi9) then this department was responsible for the interrogation of P.o.W’s so could well have continued post war, however, I cannot find out when it was disbanded.
Of course it be a generic military pass, the M.19 allowing access to a specific area or security clearance
