Two British helmets for review

Good day

This is the first time i have posted on this part of the forum i think.I have recently retired so now have time on my hands .I have also until Covid doing talks at Schools (free) on items from the war.I have used the below two helmets for talks knowing really very little about them.Both are different from others i have seen as both have not got a smooth paint finish . the liner in one is different from the other. Both have different colour paint inside from the outside.
On the exterior one is Green the other almost tan in colour

i know that the civilian used helmets had holes drilled in them so are these combat

Both are nice,original, military grade MKIIs . Both have their original, non-reflective outer paint. The liners are identical, but one has sadly lost its top pad. Good helmets !

Thank you for your reply sir .Do you think that the paint colour differences are just different manufacturers ad age rather than different theatres of the war

Perfect original WW2 helmets

In that last picture what is that circular mark by the rim.....it looks like a punched hole but probably isn’t (old eyes)

I checked it’s just a chip in the paint
