2nd Ribbon

I'm chasing my tail here !! The 2nd ribbon looks like a BEM-Military, but as it is higher than a DFC, it would have to be the Order of the British Empire. This is where I always have trouble, the military ones are not much of a problem, but the Chivalry ones always trip me up. Was the Victory Medal supposed to have any device pinned to it?

Suspension

Probably for holding mounted medals, stops your jacket developing holes from pushing the pin through the material.
