    1914 - 15 Star

    Can anybody supply me with any information on this person. It turned up in my late fathers possesions. It was the only medal he had so assume it could of been a relative of his perhaps though he never mentioned it to me. I've tried to do some research on it but its dragging me to ancestry.com and i don't want to take out a subscription just for the one medal. Thank you.

      Interesting. My dad was from Liverpool.

      21/3/1918 was the start of Operation Michael the German spring offensive according to Google. Apparently they hit the communication trenches and artillery batterys first with gas and HE munitions then sent in stormtruppes. I wonder if he was caught up in that lot.

      Thank you Tom. I'll make some further enquiries and see if i can figure out any thing else.
