This is an 1897 pattern Infantry Officer's Sword for an Officer serving in the Indian Army.
The Cypher on the Hilt has the Letters ER with an entwined I and VII for Edward 7th (1901 - 1910).
ERI stands for EDWARDUS REX IMPERATOR (Edward King Emperor)
Home Service swords simply had ER on the hilt.
Less common than the standard Home Service sword, but not particularly rare.

Value is affected by the following points.
The rarity of the sword.
The overall condition, particularly the blade.
Whether the blade is maker marked or has details which can be traced to a particular Officer. For instance, WILKINSON numbered blades are sought after,
as the makers records survive.
Without clearer photos of your sword I can only give a guide price of approximately £150.00.
