    F.S. Fighting Knife (2)

    Hi Guys,

    This thread is a follow on from my previous one.
    Here are some photos of the two knives that arrived today. Can you give me your opinions please on whether they are original or not ( they are both supposed to be genuine current issue knives ) . One has all the proper markings and the other only has B2 and the arrow.
    There slight differences in finish,grip shape and blade width.
    Sorry about the quality of the photos ( good camera, crap operator) if you need any more just let me know

                      Hi Les,

                      The one with the crossed keys is a post-war made knife, the manufacturer has made commercial knives too, but this is a military one.
                      I can't put a date on it. The one with the B2 stampings is a nice wartime 3rd pattern FS, it is not stamped "england" so it never was exported to the US.
